1. The night-time tourist bus starts its fourth season
Re-opened last week by Transports Metropolitans de Barcelona (TMB) in association with Turisme de Barcelona, the Barcelona Bus Turístic offers a night-time route around the city's most iconic locations for the fourth year. Re-opened on 4 June, the service will run until the end of September and give passengers an unusual perspective (the upper deck of an open-topped tourist bus) from which to discover summer nights in the city as well as the brilliance and colour of the city's iconic monuments and main sites of historical, cultural and artistic interest.

2. Barcelona finished refurbishments of the chapels of the convent of Sant Agustí
These chapels were part of the church of Saint Augustine, a Gothic style building built in the XIV century and was destroyed during the siege of Barcelona in 1714.
The city of Barcelona has recovered the chapels of the former convent of Saint Augustine and civic facilities that serve the district and opened them to the public.

3. Barcelona to ban veils in public buildings
Barcelona became the first big city in predominantly Catholic Spain to forbid full face veils in public buildings such as markets and libraries.
“Barcelona will forbid the use of the burqa, niqab and any other item which hinders personal identification in any of the city’s public installations,” a statement from the Barcelona municipal government said.

2. Airline Adds Routes Between Edinburgh and Barcelona
Vueling, the low-fare Spanish airline, will fly three times weekly between Edinburgh Airport and Barcelona.
Tuesday, Thursday and Sunday departures leave Edinburgh at 13:50, arriving Barcelona, 17:25; Departures from Barcelona are at 11:30, arriving Edinburgh, 13:15. Tickets start from £54 one way, including tax.

3. Air Canada launches two new direct flights between Barcelona, Toronto and Montreal
Air Canada launched two new routes, connecting Barcelona with Toronto and Montreal. The flights will depart three times a week and are expected to attract both business and tourist passengers from Spain and Canada.
