1. The metro reaches the Carmel
For the first time, the metro has reached neighbourhoods like the Carmel, El Coll and La Teixonera. The Line 5 extension between the stations of Horta and Vall d'Hebron is up and running and will eventually benefit up to 30,000 people a day. This new section means the opening of two new stations: El Carmel and El Coll/La Teixonera.

2. The Port of Barcelona aspires to be the main port for the Far East
It is one of the city's main economic driving forces. It aspires to be the main port for the Far East With the new Moll Prat container terminal it hopes to exceed the 20% growth in goods exchanged with Asia achieved in the first months of 2010. Meanwhile, there has also been an 11% increase in the number of cruise ships bringing passengers to the city.

3. Pablo Picasso screened at Picasso Graphics Museum in Münster
A film on Spanish artist Pablo Picasso is screened at the Pablo Picasso Graphics Museum in Munster. The museum celebrates its 10th anniversary.
On its 10th anniversary the Pablo Picasso Graphics Museum, Münster, is focusing on the theme of the studio picture in the works of Picasso. "I don't say everything, but I paint everything," the artist is purported to have said once.
